As we journey through life there are many challenges.  This site will provide support to people who live in transition which is namely all of us.

I recall receiving an invitation from a friend to her transitional party.  What a wonderful idea.  As soon as I received the invitation, I exclaimed, “oh I love it – 90% of my life is spent in transition – why not have a party to celebrate our times of transition?”  Our times of transition are not usually times that we choose to celebrate.  Of course, our times of transition often mark an ending, be it an ending of employment or relationship or whatever, but it is also the beginning of whatever lies ahead.  We often concentrate on the loss and dwell there for a while.  I know that spot so well but there is also a time when we have to move on with whatever lies ahead for us.  I remember well how when following a very painful job loss one of my friends reminded me that “God closes a door he always opens a window”.  How true that was then and how true it is but sometimes we are so lost in our grief that we don’t recognize the open window.

 So if wherever you are in your journey, don'g get stuck ...have a party!!!
